Your First Visit
Your very first visit to our clinic will be a discovery process to determine the source of your health concerns. We will go undergo a thorough examination to determine any abnormal body functions and how these could be detrimentally affecting your organ function and the body’s ability to heal itself. The exam will include a detailed health history, physical exam, and Tongue & Pulse examination. We will also use any necessary screening tests, such as a computerized biofeedback device, or eye tests if you are seeking help with an eye disease. If we can help, we will provide an acupuncture treatment to begin correcting the problem, as well as gauge your body’s rate of response to acupuncture treatments.
The acupuncture session is half an hour long and it is recommended to wear loose, comfortable clothing. For more information on what happens during the session, please visit our FAQ page. The first visit will take roughly one hour depending on how many questions and concerns are brought up.
Your Second Visit
After the examination, and if we determine you are a good candidate for corrective acupuncture care, we will then arrange for your next visit, which is the next treatment and Report of Findings.
At the Report of Findings, you will get a detailed overview of any issues we found during the examination, our strategy to correct the issue, and how corrective acupuncture care works. At that point we will review any recommendations or other modalities of treatment.
Regular Visits
Once beginning acupuncture care, a typical visit to our office takes approximately 30 minutes.
